Location: Simplon Pass, Switzerland, Europe and the Mountains around Lake Garda, Italy
(middle of december – end of april)
You can learn snowkiting without any previous kite experience.
Day 1:
We will start with a trainer kite. With this small (2 or 3 meter) 3 line kite we practise the steering, the starting, the landing and the safe retrieve. When you have a good control over the trainer kite we move on with a bigger kite. Now you will really feel some power, specially when we fly the kite in the powerzone of the wind window. When you can generate a consistant power with the kite you are ready for your first try with your skies. We finish with a few tries or we safe the practise with skies or board for the second day.
Day 2:
Now it’s time to learn to get up on your board/ skies, control your riding speed and direction. With skies you can expect to be cruising up and down. With a snowboard it’s a little but more difficult. You’ll be snowkiting, but not always in the right direction. So sometimes you will have to walk back up wind (against the wind to the starting point)
Day 3:
Now the real fun starts, you learn to snowkite controlled uphill and downhill. This is getting you ready for some serious touring!
Prices:
1 lesson in a group (3 hours, maximum 4 students), 130 euro
1 hour private lesson, 80 euro
2 lessons in a group (6 hours) 235 euro
rental under supervision: 100 euro for 4 hours
independent rental: 60 euro per day
Lessons are given with the Ozone foil kites. A snowboard or skies are not included in the price, but are available for rental.

Snowkite Safari – the ultimate adventure experience in Italy
Experience the ultimate adventure weekend at the untouched Val Formazza, with accomodation in the cosy “Rifugio”.
This snowkite spot fulfills all desires. There are huge flat parts, various hills and slopes to climp up or sore. The best winds are north- and south winds.
In winter time, this location is reachable after a 2 hours walk (with or without snowshoes).
All the equipment will be transported with a “skidoo” to the “Rifugio”.
In the morning you will be served by local italians with a delicious breakfast. In the evening after a unforgettable day, you get spoiled by the italian cook with traditional menus. Also a little bar to enjoy a beer or some good wine is welcoming you.
There are double rooms with shower, or you can share a room with for people.
In the price of this snowkite trip is included: snowkite guide, transport from Brig (Switzerland), transport of your luggage to the spot, brunch on the way, 2 nights accomodation with half-board.
