No more afternoon wind, so time to bike up some mountains.

Since the South wind is finished it gives the oppertunity to explore the beautiful mountains around the lake. yesterday I bike up the mountain above Limone with my collega Chiara.

Today is the last day of September.
In august we were looking forward to September. The month whitout rain, only sun and lots of wind.
September started briljant. we had 2 weeks of non stop north and south wind. But than it changed. it got colder and the rain started. we felt like the season was over. But than 5 days later the sun and the north wind came back. for over 2 weeks we had sunny days 25 degrees and lots of north wind.
Now the last days we’ve only had a few students. no more beginners only some repeaters and the wind has been sooo great.
The 5th of oktober will be the last day that we are officially open. Next year in April will be back. Bigger and better. But with the same hopes and dreams for great kitesession and sharing our passion with all of you!

What do you do when you have lost your board and your kite doesn’t restart?
What do you do when there is no wind to get back?
What to do if a line is broken?
What to do if there is to much qusty wind to land on the beach?
What do you do if there is a thunderstorm?
and the answer to theese and many more questions is the Selfrescue.
It is a bit hard work but very usefull.
Our students did a good job this morning. At the end of the lesson the wind drops so it was time to make a selfrescue back to the safe beach. When the wind was completely gone they did plan B and where getting pretty fast closer to shore. 
(okay halve way I picked them up whit the motor boat)
